Calculation methodology
This calculation refers to the CO₂ emissions generated by a typical AI image generation model, such as a diffusion model, during the process of generating a single image. The emissions are estimated based on the energy consumption of the model's computational resources, including GPUs, and the carbon intensity of the electricity used.
